It has become an annual tradition to do the end of 2017 book survey created by The Perpetual Page Turner so obviously as 2017 draws to a close, it’s time for another year of the book survey.

Songs About A Girl by Chris Russell – I didn’t think that I would like it to be honest but it’s amazing.

I haven’t actually pushed many books on people this year but I did get my friends to read When Dimple Met Rishi by Sandhya Menon.

Started: Songs About A Girl by Chris Russell

Sequel: Lord of Shadows by Cassandra Clare

Series Ender: The Scarecrow Queen by Melinda Salisbury

So many but the top was probably Sandhya Menon.

7. Best book from a genre you don’t typically read/was out of your comfort zone?

I didn’t really leave my comfort zone this year (It was a terrible reading year) unless you count reading Karan Johar’s autobiography as I don’t usually read biographies.

I’ve been terrible at discovering blogs this year….

It’s hard to remember any reviews that I wrote besides my Lord of Shadows review and the review of Indigo Donut that I wrote for Books Made Better (I probably didn’t even write any others tbh)

It’s not even on my blog but I loved the Beginner’s Guide to Bollywood that I wrote for Books Made Better

4. Best event that you participated in (author signings, festivals, virtual events, memes, etc.)?

Definitely hosting The Scarecrow Queen event in Birmingham

5. Best moment of bookish/blogging life in 2017?

Same answer as above!

6. Most challenging thing about blogging or your reading life this year?

Actually finding the motivation to blog and read… Didn’t really succeed

7. Most Popular Post This Year On Your Blog (whether it be by comments or views)?

My top post has been the same consistently for years which is: Top Ten Books For People Who Like YA Romance which I wrote at least  2 years ago.

8.  Did you complete any reading challenges or goals that you had set for yourself at the beginning of this year?

I did meet my Goodreads goal so I guess that’s an achievement.

SO MANY BOOKS. I’ve been terrible this year with reading new releases.

So that’s my 2017 End of Year Survey. It’s been a terrible year for me in terms of reading and blogging but I’m hoping I can get back on track next year. I need to find more motivation to actually do what I love doing the most. Let’s hope that 2018 works better.
