These wrap up posts are probably sounding exactly the same now. I am just so busy with uni work and having to fend for myself that I just don’t have time to blog, read or watch films. So I’m sorry but this is probably another boring wrap up. However, I do break up for Christmas on the 8th December so I’m hoping that I’ll get a lot of reading and watching movies done during December and January.
Um, nothing at all…
My blogging has been a mess for the last two years to be honest so I don’t know why I expect to do any better than I have been for the past few months.
The first book I received this month was the 10th anniversary special edition copy of City of Bones by Cassandra Clare which is beautiful and fits in perfectly with my Shadowhunter collection.
I honestly don’t have any money to spend on books so I haven’t bought any!
The first movie I watched this month was A Gentleman which is a Bollywood action comedy film focusing on mistaken identity. I really enjoyed this film. It flopped at the box office and got terrible reviews which I think is just unfair. This film was incredibly fun to watch and it gave me a good laugh. It was predictable and the acting could have been better yes but it was just so much fun. The comedy was on point as was the cinematography. I’d give it 3.5 out of 5 stars.
After that, I decided to watch Mubarakan which is a confusing Bollywood movie all about twins and falling in love with family confusions. It was fun to watch and made me laugh but it was incredibly stupid. The acting was terrible in most cases and one love interest probably only said like 5 lines in the film! It was still fun and entertained me for 2 and a half hours which is really all that I wanted from it so I’d give it 2.5 out of 5 stars.
The only TV shows that I have kept up with this month are Crazy Ex Girlfriend and The Apprentice.
Crazy Ex Girlfriend
Ek Dil Ek Jaan – Padmavati
So that was my incredibly boring November! I’m sorry that my life isn’t that interesting, especially not in the last few months but I guess that is the life of a student.
