Everything Beautiful Is Not Ruined Playlist

Today, I’m back with another blog tour post! This time, I’m hosting Danielle Young-Ullman, author of Everything Beautiful is Not Ruined which is the story of a girl who must survive an extreme wilderness experience to prove to her mother that she has the strength to pursue her dreams. Doesn’t that just sound perfect? I can’t wait to get around to this one. Music is a big part of this book so for this blog tour, I asked Danielle to comprise her playlist for this book so without further ado, here is Danielle with her playlist.

Hello, Reading Fangirl and readers. You asked for a playlist of music to go with my novel, EVERYTHING BEAUTIFUL IS NOT RUINED, and I loved putting this together. Music is a big part of the book, and so I’ve given you some songs that are mentioned in the story, and some that for me just fit the theme and feel, and that inspire me. (I’ve included youtube links to some, but not all of these) Enjoy!

Over the Rainbow—the original, of course:

Over the Rainbow/What a Wonderful World mash-up song by Israel “IZ” Kamakawiwo’ole

La Boheme:

Dido & Aeneas—Dido’s Lament:

Carmen:

Alaska, Maggie Rogers

Dog Years, Maggie Rogers

Running Up That Hill, Kate Bush:

Bach Cello Suite 1 in G (that she hums to Isaac):

Good Mother, Jann Arden:

I Would Die For You, Jann Arden:

Headspin, Lucas Rossi:

Brave, Sara Barielles:

I don’t know about you guys, but now I have some more songs that I need to check out! Don’t forget to catch up with the rest of the blog tour and pick up Everything Beautiful is Not Ruined by Danielle Young- Ullman, published by Scholastic.
